Rattan Carpet Beater

Up into the mid Fifties the carpet beater was present in every household to clean mats and carpets until the vacuum cleaner slowly pushed the carpet beater out. Still, this carpet beater remains unequalled in properly cleaning carpets or car and door mats. In order to do this it is best to hang them over a fence or on the clothesline to give them a proper beating.
